Måns Zelmerlöw

Måns Petter Albert Sahlén Zelmerlöw (* Zelmerlöw June 13, 1986 in Lund ) is a Swedish pop singer.

Biography

Career start

Zelmerlöw 2005 he took part in the Swedish edition of Idols, the national edition of Pop Idol. He eventually became fifth. In the same year Zelmerlöw participated in the Swedish version of Let's Dance and won.

Musical

Zelmerlöw played in the Swedish versions of Grease (2006, in Malmö) and Footloose (2007/2008, in Gothenburg and Stockholm ).

Melodifestivalen 2007

On February 17, 2007 Zelmerlöw took with the song Cara Mia in one of the preliminary rounds of the 2007 Melodifestivalen part. He reached the finals and finished in third place there. In the Swedish charts Cara Mia reached the top position later. His album Stand By For ... climbed to # 1 on the Swedish charts. Other single releases were Brother oh Brother, Work of Art ( Da Vinci) and Miss America.

Melodifestivalen 2009

On February 14, 2009 Zelmerlöw presented the song Hope & Glory in the second preliminary round of Melodifestivalen 2009. In the final on 14 March 2009, he finished in 4th place, after leading the meantime. The jury's vote had Hope & Glory lifted at # 1, but in the televoting the song only reached the fifth rank. On 25 March 2009, the second studio album MZW appeared.

Melodifestivalen 2010

Zelmerlöw performed together with Christine Meltzer and Dolph Lundgren as a moderator by the program.

Allsång på Skansen

Zelmerlöw moderated since 2011 Allsång på Skansen ( " Singalong at Skansen " ), a popular music broadcast on Swedish television, musicians perform in from all different genres, and when the audience sings along.
