Manuel Marani

Manuel Marani ( born June 7, 1984 in San Marino ) is a san- marinesischer footballer who plays in the national football team of San Marino.

Club career

Marani played since 2003 for various Sammarinese football clubs and Italian amateur clubs.

National team career

Manuel Marani plays as a striker and wears jersey number 10, his brother Michele Marani had its place in the national team in midfield.

On 7 February 2007 Manuel Marani scored his first international goal. After the national team of Ireland to win in the first leg qualifying football championship 5-0 against San Marino, managed Manuel Marani in the 86th minute of the return round game in the equalizer to 1:1 for San Marino to achieve. The game was lost at the end, however, 1:2, as Stephen Ireland late in injury time scored the winner for Ireland. On 14 August 2012 at the friendly against Malta he succeeded his second international goal for temporary 1-0 lead hit, the game was still lost 2:3.
