Mao Zemin

Mao Zemin (Chinese毛 泽 覃, Pinyin Mao Zemin, born April 3, 1896 † September 27, 1943 ) was the elder of the two younger brothers of Mao Zedong. He joined in 1922 the Chinese Communist Party and acted as head of the bank of the Red State in Ruijin, a small district town in Ganzhou. On 27 September 1943, he was killed on the orders of the Chinese warlord Sheng Shicai in Xinjiang.
