Map surround
The leaf margin or edge of the card a printed map is that part of a map that is outside of the card and the card mirror frame. This usually several centimeters wide space - especially at the bottom - used to accommodate additional information:
- To the editor and data base
- For the legend ( the card numbers used )
- To the different directions of North
- Year of publication and whether the ( last tracking)
- Copyright and copyright law.
