Maple Avenue (TV series)

Ahornallee was after Good times, bad times, below us, and all that counts the fourth RTL soap opera. The focus was a single parent after the death of his wife, father of two children, plagued by financial worries, with this in the big city Dusseldorf, wanted to start a new life.

The series showed mainly social differences, the guerrilla war of the poor family with the other, wealthy residents of Maple Avenue.

The series aired from April 16 to June 15, 2007 by 17:00 bis 17:30 clock clock in 42 episodes. To the 18th of May there was in each case on the following morning from 9:30 bis 10:00 clock clock a repeat of the last episode. The show was canceled due to low rates.

Action

The life of the father Willi Schlosser ( Ulrich Schmissat ) is not easy, especially not after the death of his wife. Financial problems and existence to worry him and his two children, Petra (Julia Dellgrün ) and Jan ( Sascha Kekez ) to create in her home Herford, as they decide to give it a fresh start in Dusseldorf. Background

In the villa, who played the series, there were six apartments, the ground floor and the practice of living in the house cosmetic surgeons. The main cast consisted of 18 actors with a large proportion of young performers whose love stories, desires, secrets, hardships and worries were told. Production

Unlike the previous soap operas RTL Ahornallee was not turned on a large studio space, but in an old building in Munich. Ratings and deposition

Ratings of the series moved since the beginning of the broadcast on 16 April 2007, well below the transmitter section of RTL. On 13 June 2007 RTL announced plans to make the entire series including 18 already turned, but no longer on television episodes of broadcast on the Internet via the platform RTLnow available. This type, already turned to exploit remote consequences series, has already been used several times in the USA, Maple Avenue was but the first German TV series, in which this possibility was used by the sender.
