Maratona di Sant'Antonio

The Maratona di Sant'Antonio (abbreviated Maratona S. Antonio ) is a marathon that has been held since 2000 in April between Vedelago and Padua. It is organized by the sport Assindustria Padova and replaced the Vedelago marathon, which was held from 1988 to 1999 by the Gruppo Atletica Vedelago in the municipality of the same name.

The course follows the last journey of Saint Anthony of Padua and begins in Vedelago. First, it goes westward to Castelfranco. Here, turn to the south, reaching over Resana Loreggia where you ( the same as the state road 307 ) through changes to the Statale del Santo. This is followed by Camposampiero, San Giorgio delle Pertiche, Campodarsego and Cadoneghe to the center of Padua, where the target is on the Prato della Valle is. The track is a slight slope with a gradient of more than 30 meters in altitude between the start and finish.
