Marc Lawrence

Marc Lawrence, born Max Goldsmith ( born February 17, 1910 in New York, NY, USA, † 28 November 2005 in Palm Springs, California ) was an American actor.

Life

Lawrence studied at the City College of New York and made his debut as an actor in 1931 with John Garfield together, he was a member of the troupe of Eve LeGalienne and then received a contract with the Columbia Pictures. ; his scarred face and his brooding nature made ​​him a perfect gangster occupation. In the 1950s he gave before the Committee on Un-American Activities for to have once been a member of the Communist Party USA.
