Marcantonio Amulio

Marcantonio Amulio also Marc'Antonio Amulio (* 1506 in Venice, † March 17, 1572 in Rome ) was a Cardinal of the Catholic Church.

Amulio came from a venezischen patrician family, studied in Venice and Padua. He was bishop of Rieti and was on 26 February 1561 by Pope Pius IV, who also was his uncle, Cardinal ( titular church: San Marcello ) appointed. Amulio as legate took part in the Council of Trent.
