Marcel Duchamp Prize
The Prix Marcel Duchamp is one by the French conceptual artist Marcel Duchamp (1887-1968) named, endowed with 35,000 Euro award, which since 2000 annual International by the Association pour la Diffusion de l'Art Française ( ADIAF ) in French or in France -based artist will be awarded. The ADIAF is one of the most important associations of lovers, patrons and collectors of contemporary art in France. The award is from the Musée d' Art Moderne - Centre Georges Pompidou organized and carried out in Paris. The artists are chosen from a collective of young artists; the winners ( Laureate ) is finally awarded by an international jury changes every year. Be nominated among others visual artists, designers and creatives with sculpture, installation art, photography, video art, painting and multimedia. The winner is invited to present original works of his work for a period of two months in a special exhibitions at the Centre Georges Pompidou; the ADIAF provides this additional 30,000 euros. To award an exhibition catalog is published, dedicated to the winners and all the nominees.
