Marcel Rozgonyi

Marcel Rozgonyi ( born January 28, 1976 in Hoyerswerda ) is a former German football player.

Rozgonyi played in the Youth for Energie Cottbus. From 1995 to 2000 he played for FC Lausitz Hoyerswerda. For the season 2000/ 01 he moved to 1 FC Magdeburg, with whom he reached the quarter- finals of the DFB-Pokal. The local opponents FC Schalke 04 signed him then. However, since he came there to no use for the first team, he moved in 2002 to Energie Cottbus. After he was not a regular player there too, Rozgonyi went to one year to 1 FC Saarbrücken, with whom he played three years in the 2nd Bundesliga. After the descent of the 1st FC Saarbrücken from the 2nd Bundesliga 2006 he moved to FC Sachsen Leipzig. In 2008 he returned to the first FC Saarbrücken, where he ended his career in 2010. After working for half a year at the 1 FC Saarbrücken in marketing, he moved to the end of January 2011 1.FC Lok Leipzig to continue his career.

Rozgonyi is romantically involved with the Women's Handball Ingrida Radzeviciute. The couple has a daughter.
