Marcin Adamski

Marcin Adamski [ martɕin adamsk ʲ i] ( born August 20, 1975 in Świnoujście, Poland ) is a former Polish football player.

Club career

Adamski played in his youth at Flota Świnoujście and KS Warta Poznań. Finally, the breakthrough came with the Polish first division Zagłębie Lubin, to which he moved in 1996. He played rapidly in the starting lineup of the association. In winter 2001, the defender moved free transfer to Rapid Vienna after he had played exactly 100 games in Polish Ekstraklasa for Lubin.

In the following years Adamski completed 96 appearances for Rapid, four of them in the European Cup. He was also a regular player from Rapid in the championship season in 2005, however, changed in the winter break to the French second division Angers SCO. He could not prevent its descent and returned at the end of the season back to Austria. A change to VfB Admira Wacker Mödling burst. By 30 June 2006, his contract ended at Rapid Vienna.

In September 2006, Adamski joined the German second division side FC Erzgebirge Aue, with whom he signed a contract until 30 June 2007. After a failed attempt at English second division Ipswich Town to gain a foothold, Adamski moved to Northampton Town. In early 2008 he returned to the Polish Ekstraklasa LKS Lodz to back. After relegation in 2009, the re-emergence in 2011 and relegation in 2012, his contract was not renewed.

National

Adamski graduated in 2003 and 2005, two international matches a match for the Polish national team. This was for victory against Malta, Latvia and Estonia.
