Marco Beasley

Marco Beasley ( born 1957 in Naples ) is an Italian tenor and music historian. He specializes in the interpretation of the music of the early Italian Baroque.

Life

Marco Beasley grew up as the son of an English father and an Italian mother in Naples, where he very early gained access to traditional Neapolitan folk music as well as for early music and soon to be The vocal talent was discovered.

In the early 1980s he studied at the University of Bologna Performing Arts, especially vocal music of the Renaissance and Baroque periods, as well as the musical literature of the 15th and 16th centuries.
