Marco Conti

Marco Conti ( born April 14, 1969 in Rimini, Italy) is a politician from San Marino.

Biography

Conti graduated after training as a Technical Expert to study mechanical engineering at the University of Bologna. Subsequently, he was from 1995 to 2009 director of the motor vehicle registration office ( Ufficio Registro Automezzi ) and at the same time from 2002 to 2005 The State Coordinator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Civil Protection. In March 2009, he was Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority and shipping.

His political career began Conti, who is since 1992 member of the Partito Democratico Cristiano Sammarinese ( PCDS ), in June 2006 with the election of a member of the Great and General Council ( Consiglio Grande e Generale ), where it is a member of the Interior Affairs Committee.

Conti was on April 1, 2010, in addition Glauco Sansovini Capitano Reggente of San Marino.

Conti is also president of the football club and three-time football champion ( Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio ) SC Faetano.
