Marco Gebhardt

Marco Gebhardt ( born October 7, 1972 in Quedlinburg ) is a former German football player and current coach.

Career

As a club player

Born in Quedlinburg Gebhardt began his footballing career in 1980 in the neighboring Ballenstedt at the local unit BSG (now FSV Askania ). Then he worked successively in the youth teams of BSG Motor Quedlinburg (now Quedlinburg SV 04), the ESR steel valley and the Halle FC chemistry where he could celebrate his debut in the men's team. After he moved two more times within Saxony -Anhalt ( first to FC Anhalt Dessau, then to FSV Lok Altmark Stendal ), he joined in 1995 the SC Verl at. From there he succeeded in 1997 the leap into professional football to Eintracht Frankfurt.

In Frankfurt Gebhardt immediately became a regular player and increased with the harmony in the first season in the Bundesliga on. After the team but in 2001 again descended into the Second Bundesliga and Gebhardt could not claim his place in the following season, he joined Energie Cottbus back to the Bundesliga. But even with the Cottbusern he rose again from 2003 and left the club in 2004 after missing out on promotion back to Munich for TSV 1860. After only one year stint in Saarbrücken Gebhardt moved to the beginning of the 2007/2008 season in the Regionalliga Nord for the 1 FC Union Berlin. With the "Iron " he qualified in 2008, first for the newly created third professional league before the team could celebrate promotion to the Second Bundesliga the following season. Gebhardt was doing to the service providers. At the beginning of the season 2009/2010 he was captain of Union Berlin, but was not used in the rest of the season regularly. After he was able to keep the class with Union, his contract was not renewed after all. He then moved to SV Germania 90 Fine Oak, after a season where he ended his playing career in 2011.

In the National Team

Gebhardt played beyond three A2- B- caps for Germany. His first game he played in 2000 against the A 's national soccer team of Russia. The game ended 4:4, Gebhardt was exchanged for Marcel Ketelaer. He was Substituted in its second use, the 1:4 defeat to the A national team of Slovakia, now against Jens Rasiejewski. His third and last game he played in 2001 against France. In the game, which was won 2-1, Gebhardt came in to replace Gerald Asamoah.

As a coach

At the beginning of the 2011/2012 season took Gebhardt at Oberliga Berlin Türkiyemspor as coach. After three months of work, he was fired because of sporting failures and the poor financial situation of Türkiyemspor.

In the 2012/13 season Marco Gebhardt coached the Brandenburg state league team green - white Lubben. Since 2013 he is the coach of the U17 team of Dynamo Dresden.

Private

Marco Gebhardt is married and has three children. With these he lives in the district of Dahme Spreewald ( Wildau )
