Marco Serpellini

Marco Serpellini ( born August 14, 1972 in Lovere ) is an Italian former racing cyclist.

Marco Serpellini 1990 in Utsunomiya Junior World Champion in the road race. In 1994 he became a professional cyclist at the Italian team Lampre. In 1996 he moved for a season to Panaria and won his first race, the Grand Prix Pino Cerami there. Then he went two years Brescialat. In 1998 he repeated his success in the Belgian one-day races and also won the overall classification of the Tour of Portugal with a stage. Then he moved back to his first team Lampre. He won a stage of the 2000 Tour of Basque Country and the Italian one-day race Grand Prix Beghelli. In 2004 he came to the German Gerolsteiner team, with whom he participated in the UCI ProTour 2005. In 2006 he drove for the Belgian Professional Continental team Unibet.com, and then stepped back from cycling.
