Marcus Loeber

Marcus Loeber ( born April 29, 1967 in Hofgeismar, Northern Hesse ) is a German composer, pianist, author and music producer.

Life

Loeber received classical piano training up to the age of 16. After high school and a commercial apprenticeship he began the study of law with the goal of becoming copyright attorney.

When his great-uncle Peter K. Burkowitz ( born June 13, 1920 - 29 June 2012), the developer of the REDD mixing console, which the Beatles used at Abbey Road Studios in London for their recordings, he learned how to deal with acoustics, microphones and admissions process. After ten years of membership in the American band Mac Machine he moved to Hamburg. There, he built up his own company for audio productions.

Music

Loeber since 1990 Composer Author of advertising film scores. He worked for Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Neutrogena, Montblanc, Nike, Macy's, Casio and adapted about 900 commercials. His sensitive and often melancholic music spread over the Internet. In the online community MySpace he leads the charts for months in the classical music and had 6 million listeners. With the help of the Japanese piano manufacturer Yamaha Corporation, he is in the squad artist since 2005 as an endorser, he gives piano concerts, plays his music and reports on the creation of his compositions.

Together with Burkowitz and other members of the Audio Engineering Society, he strives to provide the decline and the loss of listening habits by data compression ( eg mp3 ), and especially financial constraints to music productions forehead. He believes that the inclusion of a musical performance should be at least the picture of the actual performance.
