Marek ZieÅ„czuk

Marek Zieńczuk (* September 24, 1978 in Gdańsk, Poland ) is a Polish footballer.

Club career

The midfielder started his professional career in 1996 at Lechia Gdańsk in the Second Polish league. For the Danziger he completed between 1996 and 2000 a total of 107 games in the second and third Polish league, scoring 18 goals. In 2000 he came first in the Ekstraklasa for Amica Wronki used. He moved in late 2004 to Wisła Kraków and won with the club in 2004, 2005, 2008 and 2009, the Polish Championship. He also won the 2000 Polish Cup competition with Amica Wronki. He is a specialist in long shots and excellent passing and crossing donors. This he proved several times in the Ekstraklasa, UEFA Cup and in the Champions League qualifiers. For the 2009/2010 season moved Marek Zieńczuk for Greek first division club Skoda Xanthi. For the Greeks Zieńczuk completed 13 league matches and scored 2 goals. After the season, it was agreed by mutual consent to terminate the contract. Marek Zieńczuk returned to Poland to Lechia Gdańsk. However, he denied throughout the first half of the 2010/11 season only three games in the Ekstraklasa and therefore moved to the second round for the Liga rivals Ruch Chorzów.

National

In the National Zieńczuk graduated nine games. He was from 2002 on several occasions the chance to prove himself. However, it did here never really enforce and disappointed as good as in any job. By 2008, he played nine matches.
