Marfa Apraksina

Marfa Matveyevna Apraxina (Russian Марфа Матвеевна Апраксина; * 1664 in Moscow, .. † December 31 1715jul / January 11 1716greg in St. Petersburg) was the second wife of Feodor III. Czarina of Russia.

She was the daughter of Matvei Vasilyevich Apraxin, a nobleman from Ryazan, and Domna Bogdanovna Lowtschikowa. On February 24, 1682 she married the widowed in Moscow for a year Tsar, but the marriage lasted only two and a half months, on May 7, 1682 passed away the Tsar. The marriage remained childless.
