Margaret Mahy

Margaret Mahy ONZ ( born March 21, 1936 in Whakatane, † July 23, 2012 in Christchurch ) was a New Zealand writer.

Life

Mahy worked from 1967 to 1981 as a librarian in a children's library. Her first book, A Lion in the Meadow, appeared in 1969.

Her readings the Exzentrikerin came disguised like and using wigs. By his own testimony were not to be sold some books in the United States as they deal with witches.
