Margherita Missoni

Margherita Missoni Maccapani ( born February 21, 1983 in Milan ) is an Italian model and actress.

Biography

Margherita Missoni was born as the eldest child of fashion designer Angela Missoni and composer Marco Maccapani. Growing up on Lake Margherita di Varese is north of Milan. She is the granddaughter of fashion designer Ottavio Missoni and his wife Rosita, the founders of the fashion empire Missoni. Since moving from Italy she lives to pursue City to their acting career in New York. Margherita has a younger brother Francesco and a younger sister Teresa. Her mother Angela is currently the creative director of the fashion company. She studied philosophy at the University of Milan and acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York.

Career

As a model for Missoni Margherita Missoni can be found in numerous fashion magazines. In 2006, she was the face of Missoni perfume campaign. Also in 2006, she starred in Jean Genet's play The Maids in New York a role. From the magazine Harper's & Queen, she was elected to the list of 100 most beautiful women in the world.

Private

On 25 June 2012 she married the Italian racing driver Eugenio Amos in the Santa Maria Annunciata Church in Milan. She lives with her husband since their wedding in an apartment in Milan.
