María Consuelo Araújo

María Consuelo Araújo Castro (born 1971 in Valledupar ) is a Colombian politician. It was between 2002 and 2006 Minister of Culture in the government team of Álvaro Uribe. On August 7, 2006, she was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, submitted their office but due to the imprisonment of her brother, Senator Alvaro Araujo Castro, on 19 February 2007 with immediate effect. Your brother, as well as Álvaro Araújo Noguera her father are links to the paramilitaries in Colombia accused.
