Maria Epple
Maria Epple Beck ( born March 11, 1959 in Seeg, Bavaria as Maria Epple, called " Marile " ) is a former German ski racer. Her older sister Irene was also in the Ski World Cup successfully.
Biography
She achieved her greatest success at the beginning of their careers, as they 1978 world champion in giant slalom was in Garmisch -Partenkirchen. In the same year she was voted German sportswoman of the year. In Skiweltcup Maria Epple won in addition to numerous places on the podium five World Cup victories, a second and fourth place in the overall World Cup, as well as three German champion in slalom and giant slalom.
She is married with four times German slalom champion Florian Beck, with whom she has two children. Today, the trained beautician Maria Epple Beck operates in Gunzesried a house with 4 star apartment and cosmetic studio and has worked in event organization.
