María Isabel Moreno

María Isabel Moreno Allué, even Maribel Moreno ( born January 2, 1981 in Ribes de Freser, Girona ) is a former Spanish cyclist.

Cycling career

2001 María Isabel Moreno won the GP Tolosa and was third in the national road championship. In 2002 she won the GP Pavie. In 2003 she became junior European champion in the road race, EM medalist in the time trial and third in the Spanish Championship. Three times - in 2005, 2006 and 2007 - was María Isabel Moreno consecutive Spanish champion in the road race, in 2007 also national champion in the individual time trial. Also in 2007, she won the Tour Cycliste Feminin International de l' Ardeche and finished third in the Giro d' Italia Femminile.

Doping

In July 2008, María Isabel Moreno was tested at a training control before the Olympic Games in Beijing on positive doping with Epo and for two years - until mid-January 2011 - locked. Apparently, she has not returned after their lock in cycling.
