Maria Isakova

Marija Grigoryevna Isakova (Russian Мария Григорьевна Исакова; born July 5, 1920 in Vyatka, † March 25, 2011 in Moscow) was a Soviet speed skater. She was six times Soviet Champion in the all around ( 1945-1949, 1951). In the all-around world championships 1948 in Turku, 1949 in Kongsberg and 1950 in Moscow she won the world title in each case. She was the first Soviet speed skating world champion.
