Maria Pellegrina Amoretti

Maria Pellegrina Amoretti ( born May 12, 1756 in Oneglia, † November 12, 1787 ibid ) was a renowned Italian jurist and the first doctorate woman in Italy.

Maria Amoretti was the niece of church law expert Carlo Amoretti. With its promotion and support Amoretti could study law at the University of Pavia. With 21 years Amoretti ended in 1777, this program successfully with a PhD. Amoretti died in 1787 at the age of 31 years.
