María Rosa Lojo

María Rosa Lojo (born 1954 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine writer.

Lojo is the daughter of a merchant from Galicia, who emigrated after the Civil War to Argentina.

Lojo studied at the Universidad de Buenos Aires ( UBA) and was able to complete this study successfully. After that, she worked for several years for the arts section and the literary supplement of the newspaper " La Nación " and " Clarín ".

On behalf of UNESCO, she served as editor of Ernesto Sabatos novel " Sobre héroes y tumbas " ( On Heroes and Tombs ). Later Lojo took up an appointment at the UBA and teaches at the Faculty of Arts.
