Mariage Frères

Mariage Frères is a French manufacturer of teas based in Paris.

The chain was founded by Henri and Edouard Mariage on 1 June 1854. In the beginning it was a tea importer. In 1983, Marthe Mariage, of Henri granddaughter, two tea experts employed, Kitti Cha Sangmanee and Richard Bueno. Together they opened Maisons de Thé or tea houses and tea shops in Paris. Today, four Maisons de Thé and Tea Emporium in Paris can be found. Also in other cities along with Lafayette, Printemps, Bon Marché, the Mariage Freres teas are to get: Lille, Lyon, Marseille and Toulon. From 1990 shops in Japan, Tokyo, Kobe, Yokohama, Osaka, Kyoto and Nagoya opens. In the U.S., Mariage Frères has been represented since 1999. Together with Galeries Lafayette Berlin, followed in 2007, with Germany and Berlin in 2009 in Hamburg.

This allows the sale of 650 teas from 36 different countries. In addition to tea blends more goods such as scented candles, chocolates, tea pots, sweets are distributed.

Today Mariage Frères is to get in over 60 countries and numerous cities: New York, Los Angeles, St. Petersburg, Sydney, Singapore, the Ritz in Paris, Claridge's in London, La Mamounia in Marrakech, l' Oriental in Bangkok. Mariage Frères tea drinks are also available in First Class Japan Airlines.
