Marian Biskup

Marian Biskup ( born December 19, 1922 in Inowroclaw, † April 16, 2012 in Toruń ) was a Polish historian.

Marian Biskup was Professor of Late Medieval Polish and Baltic history at the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences at the University Toruń. He was Director of the Unit for the History of Eastern Pomerania. His research focused on the history of Prussia, Pomerania and the Baltic Sea area and the history of the Teutonic Order. Biskup was a member of the International Commission for the Study of the Teutonic Order.
