Marián Čišovský (2013 )

Marián Čišovský ( born November 2, 1979 in Humenné, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak football player. The central defender has played 341 games in the Slovak Corgoň league, the Romanian League 1 and the Czech Gambrinus Liga. Since the summer of 2011, he stands at Viktoria Plzen under contract.

Career

The career of Marián Čišovský began in his hometown Humenné at the local first division 1 HFC Humenné in the season 1996 / 97th He first came rarely to the course, its use in the following years became more frequent, until he finally sat down to key players.

In 1999 Čišovský was given the opportunity to Slovak giants ASK Inter Bratislava to change. After initial difficulties in his first season, which ended with winning the championship, he was able to capture a regular place and with his club to defend the title in the following season. In both years, he also won the Slovakian Cup. In the following years, Inter could not build on these successes and fell gradually back into midfield. In the 2003 /04 season, the club finally was in a relegation battle and Čišovský changed at the start of the new season for the reigning champions MŠK Žilina.

With Žilina Čišovský Although the title could not defend and landed behind Artmedia Bratislava only in second place, he fell into this season with six goals for the first time as a scorer on. Middle of the season 2005/ 06 he left Žilina and returned to FC Artmedia Petržalka in the capital back. After two second places he won the championship in 2008 and the Cup victory in the same year his third sport.

After this success Čišovský left his homeland and signed for FC Timişoara in the Romanian Liga 1. Even with his new club he played for the championship and finished the 2008/09 season as runners-up behind Unirea Urziceni. In the following season he was injured rarely used, but managed to win back the start of the 2010/11 season his place in the team of Westrumänen. At the end of the season behind Oţelul Galaţi again the runner-up.

Since his club had been denied admission for the 2011/ 12, Čišovský moved in summer 2011 to the reigning Czech champions Viktoria Plzen.

Čišovský played between 2002 and 2009 a total of eight games for the Slovak national football team.
