Marianne Maderna

Marianne Maderna ( born 1944 in Vienna) is an Austrian installation artist.

Life

Marianne Maderna attended from 1959 to 1964 the School of Graphic Arts and Research Institute in Vienna and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (Diploma 1972). Maderna lives in Vienna and Aggsbach village in Lower Austria. Her works are among others in Lentos in Linz, in the museum of the 20th century in Vienna and in the collection of the Albertina. In 1996 she was awarded the Prize of the City of Vienna for fine arts.
