Marianne Mikko

Marianne Mikko ( born September 26, 1961 in Võru ) is an Estonian politician. She is a member of the European Parliament since 2004.

Journalism

Marianne Mikko in 1984 her degree in journalism from the University of Tartu. From 1984 to 1994 she was a 1992/93 worked as an editor at various newspapers and as a freelance journalist in South Africa. From 1994 to 2004 she was a special correspondent, of which 1994 to 2000 in Brussels. 2003/2004 she was editor in chief of foreign and security policy month Diplomaatia shaft.

Politician

Since 2002, Marianne Mikko is one of Estonia's Social Democratic Party ( Eesti Sotsiaaldemokraatlik Erakond ) to. In 2004 she was selected as the Estonian MPs in the European Parliament.
