Mariano Roque Alonzo

Mariano Roque Alonzo Romero († 1853) was on 9 February 1841 to March 14, 1841 Consul of Paraguay. Alonzo was under Francia (partial) Mayor of Asunción, the capital of the country. He had allied himself after the death of the dictator Francia, Carlos Antonio López, who was exiled from his uncle Francia. First Consul and Alonzo Lopez was his secretary. In the same year installed both a congress, which both appointed Consul on March 14, 1841. On March 13, 1844 Alonzo Lopez stepped back and took over all power.
