Marie Joseph Charles, 6th Duke d'Ursel

Marie Charles Joseph d' Ursel, 6th Duke d' Ursel ( born July 3, 1848 in Brussels, † November 15, 1903 in Strombeek -Bever, Flemish Brabant, Belgium) was a Belgian politician of the Catholic Party and President of the Senate.

Biography

Joseph d' Ursel came from a noble family of d' Ursel and its ancestor Conrard -Albert d' Ursel, a general in the service of Spain, the 1716 the title of the 1st Duke of d' Ursel was awarded. His grandfather, Charles -Joseph d' Ursel was not only Mayor of Brussels, but also Minister for Waterways and Public Works, and Senator. His sister Marie Sophie d' Ursel (1851-1932) was married to the Saxon Count Karl Heinrich Wilhelm Wolf, Franz von Schoenburg - Glauchau (1832-1898) and moved Joachim von Schoenburg - Glauchau (1873-1943), whose son from his first marriage.
