Marie von Buelow

Marie von Bülow ( born February 12, 1857 in Vienna, † August 30, 1941 in Berlin, native Marie Schanzer ) was an Austro- German actress.

Life

Marie Schanzer began her artistic career in 1875 under her birth name in Basel, Switzerland. In 1876 she went to Karlsruhe, where she remained until 1879. This year, they followed a call to Gdansk, in 1881 a commitment to Hamburg. In addition, the Viennese occurred at the Berlin National Theatre and at Meiningen Court Theatre. There got to Marie Schanzer the conductor Hans von Bülow know, who worked as Hofmusikintendant in Meiningen 1880-1885. Both were married in 1882, and Marie Baroness von Bülow retired into private life. According to Hans von Bülow's death in 1894, his widow took care of the estate of her husband and published the letters Bülow. They also acted as patron and encouraged the young musician in her adopted home of Berlin.

Shortly before the outbreak of the First World War, Marie von Bulow returned to acting and took over the following ten years, one way or another supporting role in the film.
