Mario Hezonja

Mario Hezonja (born 25 February 1995) is a Croatian professional basketball player. The 202 cm tall man plays in the position of shooting guard, respectively. the small forward for Barcelona in the Spanish ACB League.

Career

In 2011, he won the Zagreb Euro League Basketball Nike International Junior Tournament, together with Dario Šarić.

In July 2012, Hezonja signed a three-year contract with Barcelona, ​​with an option for another four years. During the 2012/13 season he played in the second team, which participates in the Spanish second division.

In the same year he was nominated for the FIBA Europe Young Men's Player of the Year Award.

National

Hezonja was elected MVP of the U16 European Championship in 2011.
