Mario Kröpfl

Mario Kröpfl ( born December 21, 1989 in Klagenfurt) is an Austrian football player at the position of midfielder. He currently plays for AC Wolfberger in the highest Austrian league.

Career

Kröpfl began his active career as a football player at the 1996 ATUS Pörtschach in Carinthia. In 2001 he joined the then Carinthian giants FC Kärnten Klagenfurt. After six years, he went in 2007 to the newly founded SK Austria Kärnten, where he attended the Academy of the club until 2008. From July 2008 Kröpfl comes with the amateurs to use.

After a relatively good performances he drew attention to himself and did so on 21 May 2009, under coach Frenkie Schinkel for his Bundesliga debut. In the game against SV Ried Kröpfl came on in the 61st minute for Stefan Hierländer; the game ended with a 2-1 defeat. In summer 2010 he moved, due to the bankruptcy and the descent, to FC Gratkorn in the second highest Austrian league.
