Mario Röser
Mario Roeser ( born December 23, 1966 in Elgersburg ) was a German football player. For the FC Carl Zeiss Jena he played in the DDR - Oberliga and in the 2nd Bundesliga. For the GDR, he played a senior international.
His football career began Röser at the 1974 Sports Association (SPA ) Chemistry in the Thuringian city of Gera mountain. At age 13, he was delegated by the BSG 1980 football focus of the region, the FC Carl Zeiss Jena. As a junior player Röser played 14 matches with the East German junior national team. Although still reported for the youth team of FC Carl Zeiss, he played on the final day of the 1984/85 season his first league game in the DDR Oberliga. In the encounter Dynamo Dresden - FC Carl Zeiss (3:1) on 1 June 1985, he appeared as a substitute in the 82nd minute. For Season 19885/86 FC Carl Zeiss nominated the 1.81 m wide Röser officially as a defender for the league. He has been continuously employed in the first eight league games, was injured but afterwards. The susceptibility to injury accompanied Röser over his entire career as a football player. Only the 1988/89 season he was able to play without major handicap, however, he denied between September 1989 and April 1992, only six point games with the first team.
The second half of the season the 1986/87 season was the breakthrough for league - team regular at FC Carl Zeiss for Röser. He established himself in all 13 league matches for the right full-back, the position at which it was used in the next few years regularly. After he finished with the East German junior national team since 1986 14 times, he was appointed in 1988 in the cadre of senior team. On April 13, 1988 Röser came to his single 'A' game. In Friendly Match Bulgaria - DDR (1:1 ), he was used to his regular position at right-back. Against its competitors Kreer and Schößler he could not prevail thereafter. Another highlight of his career experienced Röser with the entry in the 1988 final at the East German soccer cup. In the 1990/91 season it was for FC Carl Zeiss Jena therefore, to qualify for professional football in the DFB - game operation. In the last league season the dissolved DDR Football Association Jena was sixth and had qualified for the 2nd Bundesliga. Roeser was the entire season on injured and only came on 7 March 1992 on its first use in the second league. In his last season in the 2nd Bundesliga 1997/98 he played 19 of 34 league games and was mostly used as a left defender. As a central defender Röser denied on the last season game day, June 7, 1998 in the match FC Carl Zeiss - Fortuna Dusseldorf (3:4) his final second league game since the Jena had to dismount again. As a 31- year-old Roeser still came in five Regional games used at 0:1 at Spandau SV on October 18, 1998, he stood for the last time in the first team of the Zeiss - dwellers. He had completed 276 appearances for FC Carl Zeiss Jena, where he scored two goals. He played 85 times in the GDR Oberliga, 115 times in the Bundesliga 2 and 15 times in the Regionalliga. In addition, six games in Europe and 28 games played in the national cup, and 27 Intertoto games.
After his career as a high-performance athletes to Röser joined the country class 's FC Thuringia Weida, where he played as a recreational soccer player until 2002 and by the way worked as a youth coach. From 2006 to 2011 he worked as a physiotherapist again at FC Carl Zeiss Jena worked.
