Mario Röser

Mario Roeser ( born December 23, 1966 in Elgersburg ) was a German football player. For the FC Carl Zeiss Jena he played in the DDR - Oberliga and in the 2nd Bundesliga. For the GDR, he played a senior international.

His football career began Röser at the 1974 Sports Association (SPA ) Chemistry in the Thuringian city of Gera mountain. At age 13, he was delegated by the BSG 1980 football focus of the region, the FC Carl Zeiss Jena. As a junior player Röser played 14 matches with the East German junior national team. Although still reported for the youth team of FC Carl Zeiss, he played on the final day of the 1984/85 season his first league game in the DDR Oberliga. He established himself in all 13 league matches for the right full-back, the position at which it was used in the next few years regularly. After he finished with the East German junior national team since 1986 14 times, he was appointed in 1988 in the cadre of senior team. On April 13, 1988 Röser came to his single 'A' game. As a central defender Röser denied on the last season game day, June 7, 1998 in the match FC Carl Zeiss - Fortuna Dusseldorf (3:4) his final second league game since the Jena had to dismount again. As a 31- year-old Roeser still came in five Regional games used at 0:1 at Spandau SV on October 18, 1998, he stood for the last time in the first team of the Zeiss - dwellers. He had completed 276 appearances for FC Carl Zeiss Jena, where he scored two goals. He played 85 times in the GDR Oberliga, 115 times in the Bundesliga 2 and 15 times in the Regionalliga.
