Mario Vrančić

Mario Vrančić (* May 23, 1989 in Slavonski Brod ) is a German football player. It can be left in the defense and left midfield play.

Career

Clubs

Already in the Junior B age he was the playmaker A- Juniors of 1 FSV Mainz 05 from 2006, the midfielder was in Mainz Senior Squad. On the final day of the season 2006/ 07 he played his first competitive game with the pros. In the 2007 /08 season Vrančić played a major role in the team.

For the 2009/10 season he was loaned for a year at Rot Weiss Ahlen. In January 2011, the midfielder joined the Reserve of Borussia Dortmund. In the season 2011/12 Vrančić was with the second team of the BVB win the Regionalliga West. On promotion to the third league, he was involved with 16 goals this season.

For the 2012/13 season Vrančić moved to one and a half years in Dortmund for second division side SC Paderborn 07

National

In the U- 17 World Cup in Luxembourg in 2006 was Vrančić a regular in the DFB - Elf. From 2007 it belonged to the German U-19 national team and was with her at the U- 19 Championship 2008 in the Czech Republic European Championship.
