Marion Rösiger

Marion Rösiger is a former German canoeist.

Marion Rösiger won with Martina Bishop between 1976 and 1979 four GDR championships in double kayak over 500 m succession. In 1977 she also won in singles, in 1978 and 1979 in four. 1977 and 1978 was the duo Rösiger / Episcopal world champion, 1979 runner-up. Because of " contacts with the West " Rösiger was taken before the 1980 Olympic Games from the kayak with Bishop and replaced by Carsta Genäuß.

In 1978 she was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit.
