Marisol Romero

Marisol Romero ( Marisol Guadalupe Romero Rosales, born January 26, 1983 in Mexico City) is a Mexican long-distance runner.

In the World Half Marathon Championships in Birmingham in 2009 she came to the 39th place.

In 2010 she qualified with a second place in a national elimination race in Léon for the marathon in the Central American and Caribbean Games in Mayagüez, in which they won gold. In the World Half Marathon Championships in Nanning, she took the 22 place.

The following year she was second in the Guadalajara Half Marathon, won at the Central American and Caribbean Championships in the 5000m and celebrated at the Pan American Games in Guadalajara a double triumph over 5,000 m and 10,000 m.

In 2012 she won the Maratón de la Comarca Lagunera.
