Mark Cundari

Mark Cundari ( born April 23, 1990 in Woodbridge, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since April 2013 in the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League under contract and play for their farm team in Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Career

Mark Cundari began his career as a hockey player with the Vaughan Vipers, where he was active in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Junior Hockey League in the season 2005/ 06. Then the defender played four years for the Windsor Spitfires in the top Junionreliga Ontario Hockey League. With his team he won for the seasons 2008/ 09 and 2009/10 respectively to the J. Ross Robertson Cup, the champion of the OHL and then the Memorial Cup, the final tournament for the championship of the Canadian Hockey League. Even as a junior player he signed in 2008 a contract as a free agent with the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League, for their farm team in Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League, he stood on the ice from the 2010/11 season.

Beginning of April 2013 he was transferred to the Calgary Flames and mainly plays for their farm team in the AHL Abbotsford Heat.
