Mark J. Seitz

Mark Joseph Seitz ( born January 10, 1954 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States), Bishop of El Paso.

Life

The Bishop of Dallas, Thomas Ambrose Tschoepe, ordained him a priest on 17 May 1980.

Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 11 March 2010 Titular Bishop of Cozyla and auxiliary bishop in Dallas. He received his episcopal consecration of the Bishop of Dallas, Kevin Joseph Farrell, on 27 April of the same year; Co-consecrators were Michael Gerard Duca, Bishop of Shreveport, and Charles Victor Grahmann, Bishop Emeritus of Dallas.

Pope Francis appointed him on May 6, 2013 as Bishop of El Paso. The inauguration was followed on 9 July of the same year.
