Mark O'Toole (bishop)

Mark O'Toole ( born June 22, 1963 in London ) is an English Roman Catholic priest and appointed Bishop of Plymouth.

Life

Mark O'Toole received on 9 June 1990, the ordained priest for the Archdiocese of Westminster. From 2002 to 2008 he was private secretary to the Archbishop of Westminster, Cardinal Cormac Murphy - O'Connor. Since 2008 he was Rector of Allen Hall seminary in Chelsea.

Pope Francis appointed him on November 9, 2013 to the Bishop of Plymouth. He received his episcopal consecration his predecessor Hugh Christopher Budd on January 28 of next year.
