Marko Kristal

Marko Kristal ( born June 2, 1973 in Tallinn ) is a former Estonian football player and current coach. He played in midfield and was a longtime member of the Estonian national team.

Career

For most of his career playing in his native Kristal at Flora Tallinn. Only from July 1999 to December 2000 he played in Sweden and in Finland, the IF Elfsborg FC Lahti.

With Tallinn, he was a total of six Estonian champion, he also twice won the Cup four times and the Supercup. He thus experienced with all titles profits Flora Tallinn since the founding of the Meistriliiga celebrated. His career ended in 2005.

In the Estonian national Kristal played from 1992 to 2005, where he played 143 games, and thus may have the second highest number of inserts for Estonia after Martin Reim (156). Kristal was at the end of his career, the player with the world's second most internationals, behind rhyme, who never participated in a World Championship.

Since 2012 he is head coach of FC Levadia Tallinn in the Meistriliiga.
