Markus Matthiasson

Markus Matthiasson ( born May 16, 1975 in Uppsala ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who is under contract with 1 Helsingborgs HC in the Division since 2011.

Career

His professional career began Markus Matthiasson in the 1992/93 season at the former Swedish second division Almtuna in Uppsala, where he stood until 1996 under contract and scored 55 goals in 105 games. From Uppsala, he moved in 1996 to Timra IK, where, after the intermediate stations Djurgårdens IF ( 59 games, 1 goal) and Huddinge IK (41 games, 22 goals ), 1999 signed a contract again. By 2004 Matthiasson was at this club under contract, scoring 108 goals in 282 games.

Mid-2004 Matthiasson to Malmö Redhawks and received a three - year contract. In the three years Matthiasson scored 48 goals in 177 matches played, before moving to HK Jesenice in the Austrian EBEL 2007. After a year in which he got 35 times on the ice and scored 17 goals, he moved within the league for EHC Linz, where he was under contract since then. After the 2009/10 season he finished his playing career at first. However, for the 2011/12 season, he continued his career in the third-tier Division 1 at Helsingborgs HC.
