Marlies Amann-Marxer

Marlies Amann - Marxer ( born July 31, 1952 in Vaduz; born Marlies Marxer ) is a Liechtenstein politician (VU). It is to the State Council on March 27, 2013, responsibility for the Ministry of Infrastructure, Environment and Sport member of the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein. Previously, she was from 2005 to 2013 Member of the Liechtenstein Parliament.

Education and Career

Marlies Amann - Marxer attended the Commercial School St. Elizabeth in Schaan, where she earned a degree in 1969, the trade diploma. This was followed by language and vocational stays in Neuchatel, Geneva and Torquay in the years 1970 and 1974 / 75th In parallel, she worked from 1970 in many commercial jobs in the Liechtenstein National Bank, the Irsha International Steel Trade Institute and the Pattchom Int. Eng. AG in Vaduz. From 1989 to 1995 she was active in the company of her husband, Amann architecture AG in the areas of human resources, accounting and finance. In 2005 Marlies Amann - Marxer was first elected to the Patriotic Union in the Parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein. When deputies she was from 2005 a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee and from 2005 to 2008 as deputy in the Liechtenstein delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE. From 2009 she was a member of the EEA Commission.

After the state elections in February 2013 Marlies Amann - Marxer was chosen by the Liechtenstein parliament in the government. As a councilor she has, since March 27, 2013 the Ministry of infrastructure, the environment and sport.

Amann - Marxer is married and has four children, two sons and two daughters. She lives with her husband in ash trees.
