Marlo Morgan

Marlo Morgan ( born September 29, 1937 in Fort Madison, Iowa ) is an American author and physician.

Life

She was known primarily for her book " Dreamcatcher " ( 1991), which she based referred to in previous statements than on true events. However, they had to withdraw and admit that they invented the contents of the book free a short time later. In it she tells the alleged encounter with an Aboriginal tribe in Australia, with which they take part in a " Walkabout " and in this way make a profound spiritual experience.

A film adaptation of the book was planned, but could be prevented by the Aborigines, who did not agree with the representation of her people in the book " Dream Catcher ".

Marlo Morgan studied medicine and was particularly involved in the field of health care. Later she held because of their experiences in Australia talks to draw attention to the situation of Aboriginal and closer to the spirituality of this nature people of the world.
