Marlous Pieëte

Marlous Pieëte ( born July 19, 1989 in Naarden ) is a Dutch football player who is under contract with FC Twente in Enschede in season 2009/10.

Club career

In youth Pieëte played at their home club VVOG in Harderwijk, a hamlet in the parish Opmeer. From the age of five she was active up to and including the U-17 boys teams in the club. Then she went to the Hoofdklasse, the then top division to Be Quick '28 to Zwolle. With the introduction of the Eredivisie on the left can be used as striker or as an attacking midfielder Pieëte moved to FC Twente, with whom she won the 2008 KNVB Cup. In their second season in Enschede she scored twelve goals in 22 league games.

National

After she had played in the U-17 National Team, Pieëte debuted on September 13, 2006 in the U-19 team of the Netherlands with a strong game against Belgium; at the qualifying tournament in Lithuania for the European Championships she scored in the match against Croatia, two of the eight goals of the Orange team. On 5 March 2009 she made her first in the senior team. Bond coach Vera Pauw they called into the squad for the finals; until the start of the tournament she was eight times accrued in the national team.
