Marques Colston

Marques Colston ( born June 5, 1983 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) is an American professional American football player at the position of wide receiver. He plays for the New Orleans Saints in the National Football League ( NFL) and won with the Saints Super Bowl XLIV.

College

Colston got out of high school a scholarship to the University of Missouri. But he opted for an inferior scholarship from Hofstra University. In his four years he caught 182 passes for 2,834 yards, which to this day unbroken records of Hofstra University, the football program hired 2009.

NFL

Marques Colston was selected in the 2006 NFL Draft in the seventh round as 252 players from the New Orleans Saints. Because of its size, it was regarded as a tight end and many thought that he would be not gedrafted.

Because of the sale of Donte Stallworth he was in the first game play from the start and showed a very good performance. He holds the NFL record for most Catches a player in the first two seasons with 168 In the 2008 season he was due to injury only six of 16 possible games to play from the beginning.
