Märta Tikkanen

Marta Tikkanen, born Cavonius ( born April 3, 1935 in Helsinki ( Helsingfors schwed. ), Finland ) is a Finland-Swedish author and philosophy teacher.

Life

Tikkanen is a daughter of Professor Gösta Edvin Cavonius and Julia Margit Stadius. She is married to Henrik Tikkanen since 1963.

Tikkanen has ( arbetarinstitut Helsingfors svenska ) as a journalist at the Finland-Swedish newspaper Hufvudstadsbladet and as Rector of the " Swedish workers Helsinki Institute " worked.

Tikkanen has become internationally known primarily for her novel How I rape a man? ( Män kan inte våldtas - men can not rape you, 1975), who found some attention in the feminist literature of the seventies. The book was already filmed in 1978 in a Finnish-Swedish co-production (directed by Jörn Donner ), the film was released internationally under the English title " Manrape ".
